學校運動發展計劃簡介
　
香港殘疾人奧委會暨傷殘人士體育協會一直期待在學校推行運動發展計劃。一方面可以鼓勵同學參與運動，享受運動帶來的益處和樂趣。另一方面，希望更有效發掘有潛質的同學，提升他們對運動的興趣並加以培訓。

於2007年田徑週年比賽前，協會派出教練到各會員學校協助同學作田徑訓練及提供技術指導；此不但提升同學們在田徑比賽的表現，更讓同學們親身體驗到正規而富趣味性的訓練。自此，學校積極與協會合作於校內推行不同項目的運動訓練。協會由最初只能為學校提供有限度的田徑訓練班，到現時已為全港八間特殊學校舉辦四項運動共十九個運動訓練班。
　
　
Introduction of School Development Programme
　
Hong Kong Paralympic Committee & Sports Association for the Physically Disabled (HKPC&SAPD) is so enthusiastic to promote sports activities in local special school. On one hand, this can encourage students to participate in sports and enjoy the benefits brought from sports. On the other hand, HKPC&SAPD can identify and nurture talents in different sports, to provide them a pathway to improve their skills and abilities.

Before the Hong Kong Annual Athletics Championships for the Disabled in 2007, HKPC&SAPD sent coaches to special schools to provide structured athletics training to students. The students were not only improving their skills in athletics, they also had a taste on proper athletics trainings and demanded for more. From that onwards, schools are working hand in hand with HKPC&SAPD actively to promote different sports activities at school. Nowadays, HKPC&SAPD has provided 4 sports and a total of 19 training sessions for 8 special schools in Hong Kong.
